He was drafted 10th and if he holds out the entire season to participate in next year’s draft he’ll be going much later than tenth. He is unproven and definitely not interested in the public’s perception, which is of course EVERYTHING. I cannot root for this guy, ever. This means that I may be abandoning my team, which is a difficult choice to make, but I’m honestly sick of the thug/soldier/diva persona of the NFL these days. “I can’t wait to put this red on.” The moment he said that it was clear that he was still just another punk kid with no intention of growing into a man any time soon. The guy is a known associate of “gangsta’s” for christ’s sake. A bunch of ninnies sporting platinum chains and diamonds, pretending to be threatening “soldiers” who are in truth only soldiers of the system they have bought into. Well, if the little bitch can’t buy enough platinum chains with 10th pick money, let him hold until the 2010 draft, get paid nothing now and fall to an even later slot next season.

At some point, you got be a man and admit that Heyward-Bey was taken first and you are damn lucky to have been taken 10th sporting an injury that could have slid you even further down.

Even if Crabtree signs right away he is going to be way behind the curve and it is hard to justify not playing the other wideouts that are rocking the training camp harcore already. Josh Morgan is very talented and will win that spot in all likelyhood barring some injury. OMG, seriously, there were better and safer picks than this chump. You will forever be heckled by anyone that is actually aware of how selfish you are and I can’t wait to see you get blasted by every opposing safety and physical corner in the NFL when he “hops” off the line of scrimage.

He even lied about his size. So, we have point “A”, he’s openly dishonest. He said he can’t wait to “put this red on.” Point “B”, again openly dishonest since he’s purposefully holding out based on a mock draft that never occurred. He is a known person of questionable moral character, (just another thug with thug friends and a record) being Point “C”. The list could go on, but why waste the time? So, a desperate plea to the niners administration; Let him go, save the money and sign someone else in his place, use the additonal saved money to do something to try and boost our organization’s image and role in the community. Turn your back on this guy, he isn’t the missing piece unless you need a cancerous lout that is just going to drive your reputation even further into the sewer. Who want’s a player that their own fans will boo?

The only thing that would deter me and so many other seriously annoyed fans would be to fire your agent and get in business with someone that is going to serve your interests in the here and now, talk straight with you and can see the reality of the situation. 10th pick, second at your position doesn’t get you the same or better money as 7th pick, first at your position.

Seriously commisoner Goodell, let’s get these punks salarie’s capped already by instituting a non-negotiable salary scale. Don’t even get me started on the compensation for personal risk of bodily harm spin. He was lucky to survive high school, college and apparently life in general being as blind as he has been to this point and equally lucky to have the chance to play football for rent money.

Oh (!!!!!!!!!!!) this is so infuriating. Just pass on the prick like at least one of you knew you should have done. Some mistakes can’t be taken back, but this one most certainly could be. Just send a memo to the agent informing them of your acceptance of Michael’s holdout and refusal to adhere to any unfavorable contract “demands” along with the name of the guy you sign to fill his “slot” that he hasn’t proven he deserves. Make sure Michael get’s a copy of this memo somehow as well so that maybe he’ll fire the chump and jump on board while he has any sort of opportunity at all.
