I agree with Colbymon’s comments. Dont treat the 49ers bad because they actually LIKE you and think you ARE a great receiver. There choice of you says they are one of your fans. Kick dirt in the face of your enemy not those who have chosen to show their faith in you by taking you so high in the draft.

Put incentives in your contract to ensure you get paid well if you are as good as you think you are.

I’m not a niner fan but the niners did take you, Mike, with the 10th pick. If they don’t take you then you are the 11th pick or even further down. So don’t disrespect the team that DID pick you, disrespect the first 9 teams who passed you up, by kicking their ass on the field.

Not everyone gets picked where they should in the draft. Some superstars go as late as the 7th round. Then they show they are worth much more and they get paid. You’re being offered a lot of money. You were picked 10th instead of 7th. Its not so far off that you need to be holding out. Go sign up and kick ass, I guarantee if you do you will be paid down the line.

BTW, you’re making Al Davis look like a genius.
