The San Francisco 49ers have filed an official complaint with the NFL league officials claiming the New York Jets tampered with their first round draft pick Michael Crabtree. The 49ers have been unable to make any progress in their efforts of signing him. San Francisco didn’t go into details about what the Jets did that was illegal, simply stating that this is a legal process and they don’t want to comment on it.
Rex Ryan, head coach of the New York Jets, on the other hand said this whole thing is “ridiculous”.
It’s possible the Jets could have reached out to Crabtree’s agent and said something like ‘hey if your client reenters the NFL Draft we’ll give him consideration with our first round pick’. This is all speculation though as we don’t know anything.
What we do know is that the 49ers are 2-0 without Crabtree and they have until early November to get him inked if he wants to play for this team in 2009.

Michael Crabtree must ask himself this question is his agent working on his behalf or is he is following his lead because if he is following his agents desires then he is a 100% idiot and the people around him are just a bunch of yes men.
If I was his agent I would point out to Michael that your arguement isn’t worthy enough to the fans nor the organization of the NFL and its a priviledge to play in the NFL and have a lucrative career. The rules was set before Michael Crabtree and will be after Michael Crabtree. If you want to fire me for being honest then do so but I wouldn’t lead you down this road at all.
You get selected in a certain spot there is a level of money you will be offered and unfortunately Heyward-Bey was selected before you and you wasn’t the number 1 reciever selected. You must get over that and I will get you the top dollars for that slot and also if you would like have provisions in that contract to be able to work another deal before this one runs out.
You need to be on the field proving your the best reciever in this class by producing and living up to the hype about yourself and you believe you are instead of the neighborhood or friends around you that are telling you that your the best thing since slice cheese. They will be the first ones laughing if your a bust back in the neighborhood you grew up in. This is a reality check for you to go get it done and if you can’t understand that then I am not your man or agent.
Charlie Joiner, Jerry Rice, James Lofton, Michael Irvin, Lynn Swann, John Stallworth, Randy Moss, Steve Largent, Chris Carter, Larry Fitzgerald, and many future or current Hall of Famer didn’t sit out a entire season because they earned there reputation by going out on the field and proving there the best and the fianacial end took care of itself and all are well off and respected by there peers.
Michael Crabtree is only getting a contract according to his potential to become what these guys already are but your acting like you have done something but honestly you haven’t did nothing to prove your worthy of that hefty investment that you asking at this point. For a person that never had this money in your entire life and work hard to have the opportunity to be in this millionaire status your penny pinching and let the wagon lead before the horse.
You need to realize that the NFL don’t need Michael Crabtree but Michael Crabtree needs the NFL in order to display his talent to a worldwide audience and get paid handsomely in the process. The last kid that decided to sit a year was Mike Williams from USC and he ended up being one of the biggest bust ever in the draft. A year away from the game means the less time teams want to be patient in developing you and expectation and returns are today and not tomorrow.
Stop letting your ego or people in your circle lead you into brink wall and put your feelings back in the bedroom where they belong and be smart about your future because opportunities don’t wait for nobody but its hard to get them back when there lost. I hope that Michael Crabtree can read this because I am not a San Francisco 49ers fan but actually I hate them because I am New York Giants fan my entire life.
Your talented kid but the direction your going with agent and so called friends who will prosper from your hardwork anyway because you will take care of them but who is around you that will stand up and not kiss your ass and say, Michael your wrong about this is somebody who really care about Michael person and the man to definetly tell you the truth that you might not want to hear at the time because if you was my friend I would say, kiss my ass man your really allowing your ego to lead you with your head up your rear end.
That just being really if your truly my friend then I can say, that to you to help you keep yourself grounded mentally and focus. Peace and Love Mr. Crabtree and hope you haven’t created enemies before you even get started in your NFL quest to be one great one but also respect for what you accomplish on and off the field as a man.

BEST PLAN: trade him for a first rounder (at a sucky team lions, jags, chiefs, chokeland) in 2010 NFL Draft. We have 3 first round picks. Draft Colt McCoy since Shaun Hill and A smith arent gna stick around, get Brandon Spikes as a Pass Rusher, and use the remaining pick from Carolina to draft jahvid best Cal’s running back. That will solidify this hard nose 49er team. Screw this damn tool, he is a joke.

Please do not sign Michael Crabtree. This is a bullet dodged. He knows he is only going to get one contract in the NFL and whoever signs him is going to get screwed. It’s a shame to see a young man make stupid decisions but we all do to some extent, that’s how we learn. This is going to be a costly lesson for Mr. Crabtree and also for whoever signs him.
