The Lone Star State Showdown

October 17th, 2008 by Crabtree Zone

Michael Crabtree and the No. 7 Texas Tech Red Raiders are off to Texas A&M for a battle. This game doesn’t mean as much to  A&M as it does for Tech. With another win, they’ll probably move up a spot or two in the rankings because Florida is idle this week.

Last year against Texas A&M, Michael Crabtree had 8 catches for 170 yards. This game could be an absolute shoot out, so seeing numbers like that again this year shouldn’t surprise you. Crabtree has the capability to take it to the endzone on any play.

Opponents are averaging 33 points per game against A&M. So really there’s no reason why Texas Tech can’t drop 50 on them.

I predict a huge day for Crabtree. Something like 9 catches for 147 yards and 2 touchdowns.
