Michael Crabtree in the National Spotlight
After big wins over Missouri and Oklahoma State, No. 1 Texas has another test ahead Saturday in Lubbock. But will No. 7 Texas Tech be able to knock off Mack Brown and the Longhorns? I think so. When you have Michael Crabtree lining up at wide receiver… anything is possible.
Last year against Texas, Michael Crabtree had 9 catches for 195 yards and 2 touchdowns. If he can duplicate this performance against a No.1 team on national television… I just don’t know what I’d do. Everybody will be watching this game to see if the Red Raiders can knock Texas off their high horse. There’s going to be a lot of energy and emotions flowing.
I have a strange feeling this game could be a shootout just like last year’s 59-43 game. Except this year, if it’s a shootout, Texas Tech will be on the winning side. The Texas offense just won’t be able to keep up with Harrell and Crabtree.
The game is on at 8:00 PM EST and Texas is favored by 4 points. I like those odds. Give me a final score of 49-45, Red Radiers win! Crabtree will go 8 receptions for 145 yards and 3 touchdowns.
